TEAM OF STUDENTS FROM
TallinnTech continue in the quarter-finals at Ericsson-arranged international competition

Team of students of Logistics and Transport at TUT have succeeded to run into quarter-finals of the IT and transport-related and Ericsson-arranged competition “Networked Society Cities”. Among the competitiors are top universities such as Stanford, Aalto, Stockholm School of Economics... 7 semifinalists will be announced on 26th of September.
The competition aims at students presenting visions how ICT can support the changes in transport solutions and solve urbanisation problems. The teams participating suggested ICT and transport solutions for year 2020.
TallinnTech team is consisting of three master level students - Tanel Jairus, Mai-Liis Metstak ja Martin Parro – all of them studying logistics, transport planning and supply chain engineering. The team is coordinated by the researcher at Department of Logistics and Transport at TallinnTech, Kati Kõrbe.
The competition started in September with regional competition, where TallinnTech team was selected within top three from Europe together with Aalto University and Stockholm School of Economics. The four finalist teams will be selected on 1st of October and the finals will take place in Miami (USA) between November 16th and 18th.
