The curriculum of ‘The Specialised program on Industry 4.0 and 5.0’ is developed to provide a thorough overview of common strategies and practices in the fields of manufacturing and entrepreneurship. The program aims to introduce the growth and production models that are implemented in production plants by also aligning to the principles of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D printing, etc.
The program is designed and developed by TalTech School of Engineering, TalTech Center for Continuing Education and partner universities, both from Europe and USA.
The modules and topics in the curriculum will give an overview of the implementation of innovative strategies and digitalisation processes from the perspective of global reach/market. The influence of corporate decision-making and sustainability are also among the topics to be covered.
The modules are based on the approach of learning from the practical study cases practiced in the companies that are using the technologies based on Industry 4.0 conception. As a result of this, the focus lies on the topics of innovation, production efficiency, and agility, as well as risks caused by the processes. Additionally, a substantial part of the curriculum is about studying and analysing the outlooks and phases of development in Industry 5.0.
The participants will gain thorough and competent knowledge of the systems and operational methods of Industry 4.0 and 5.0. Thereby, the studies will ensure career opportunities as an entrepreneur, an (executive) manager, or as a consultant in the field of manufacturing.
