EIT Digital Summer Schools in Taltech
Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) has organized the summer school for EIT Digital since 2018.
In 2018 and 2019 the summer schools were part of the Digital Cities Focus Area, under the headline Integrating Personalised Mobility Solutions for Digital Cities.
The summer school is built on group-work projects that are complemented with interactive lecture sessions with academics, mobility experts and practitioners, and visits to case organizations. The interaction with future mobility solutions’ visionaries and practitioners provides the students with the unique chance to get deep insights into the topic of personalized mobility solutions in digital cities.
Students practiced business planning, business models and innovation specifics to mobility sector and developed their own prototypes. While the main attention of the two-week programme was on the project work, it was frequently enriched with topic-focused lectures and expert speakers. Students also attended meetings (and site-visits) with relevant practitioners for their cases.
